Record win for Seal
SEAL JUNIORS under-15s broke all
club records with a massive 27-1 victory against Cranbrook Town Colts in the
Crowborough League Knockout Cup, writes Stephen McCartney.
In a massive mis-match, Seal, who play two divisions above their opponents, were
far too strong.
Striker Jack Edmeads bagged a triple hat-trick before the break with further
goals from Alex Daly, Ben Langford (2) and Dean Stoate (2) to give Seal a
convincing 14-0 interval lead.
In the second half Anthony Grant scored four times, his first goals for the
club, while Stoate and Daly both completed hat-tricks.
Other scorers were James Stock, Sam Saunders and Charlie James.
Despite not getting on the score-sheet, Michael Brigden provided numerous
assists with his crosses and corners from the right-wing.
