Dartford manager Tony Burman has expressed his delight with the capture of 22-year-old striker Brendan Cass from their Southern League Division One East rivals Chatham Town on Friday afternoon, writes Stephen McCartney.
The former Tonbridge Angels striker, who lives in Chatham, came off the bench early in the second half of yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Waltham Forest to replace winger Dave Martin (dead leg). |

Dartford have completed the signing of 22-year-old striker Brendan Cass from their Southern League Division One East rivals Chatham Town.
The former Tonbridge Angels' striker has scored 16 league goals for the Maidstone Road outfit this season and goes into the squad for Saturday's trip to Waltham Forest.
Darts boss Tony Burman admited he was "absolutely delighted" to sign him.

Chatham Town, who host Potters Bar Town for a place in the last eight of the Southern League Errea Cup tonight, have received a kind offer from the Mid Kent College Medway, to send a work party once a week to their Maidstone Road ground to carry out all the tidying and off jobs that the regular volunteers do not get time to do.

Chatham Town manager Steve Binks insists Potters Bar Town won’t be easy to beat as the Medway side aim to reach the quarter-finals of the Southern League Errea Cup on Tuesday night, writes Stephen McCartney.
Since beating Barton Rovers 3-2 at Maidstone Road on 26th November, the Kent side’s form has dipped due to several injuries and Binks’ side have collected only four points from their last six games.
And although Potters Bar Town are bottom of the Southern League Division One East table, they have collected seven points from their last three games.
