Parker signs young guns
PAUL PARKER, manager of struggling Nationwide South club Welling
United, has bolstered his squad by registering a couple of highly-recommended
youngsters from Coca-Cola clubs.
Sean Hillier is a highly-promising right-back from Brentford will will play as
cover for Tony Browne.
The 18-year-old is currently a squad player at Griffin Park and started against
Redbridge last Saturday.
Ashley Carew is also 18 and played for Gillingham in the pre-season friendly at
Park View Road.
The central midfielder again comes highly-recommended and was also in the Wing's
squad last Saturday.
Parker also attempted to sign cover for the goalkeeping position, but it was
understood the deal fell through at the eleventh hour.
