Parker raids Dover for more players
Welling United manager Paul Parker has signed two more key players from Dover Athletic, writes Stephen McCartney.
Experienced central defender Andy Arnott and creative
midfielder Lee Spiller make the switch to Park View Road.
Both players join the Wing's on a two-year contract and link up with Parker's
other former Dover signings this summer - Jamie Day and Tommy Tyne.
Thirty-year-old Arnott has had league experience notably at Colchester United, where he made 169 appearances. He joined Dover Athletic in June 2002 from Stevenage Borough and was a regular player at The Crabble.
Twenty-six-year-old Spiller is known for his flair and
creativity and scored on four occasions last season. He has played at
Gillingham, Margate and Gravesend & Northfleet before moving to The Crabble
from Chesham United in May 2002.
